Due to the nature of our Business once a booking has been made it is not our policy to issue refunds under any circumstances. If you need to reschedule your booking that is fine. We understand that life happens and no additional charge would be made. However, if you repeatedly kept rescheduling for whatever reason an additional charge would be applied. Once the booking has been made that time slot is no longer available to other potential clients we would be unable to rebook it. Thanks for your understanding.
To make a booking you will be required to pay a 20% deposit a minimum of 48hrs in advance via Bank Transfer. Please note than if you haven't paid the deposit you have not booked an appointment. The remaining balance can be paid by bank transfer the day before or alternatively you can pay for the session in full via Bank Transfer.

Due to the nature of solution focused clinical hypnotherapy we are unable to offer any warranty or guarantee with regard to our services. Each individual client is given simple techniques to incorporate into their daily routines. Some clients are suited more to this than others. We can give you the tools you need and teach you how to use them effectively but we can’t do the work for you. As such results may vary.
We do not offer a diagnosis service nor do we offer help or advice with regard to medication. If this is something you require then we would strongly recommend you speak with a qualified General Practitioner (doctor) before seeking our services.

The initial consultation is a free 30 minute consultation at a time that best suits you. Amanda is willing to work around your schedule because 9 to 5 monday to friday doesn't suit everyone. She is available 6 days a week at times that work for you. Depending on what you prefer, this service can be done in person or online for no extra fee.
Talk therapy involves talking to a trained professional about your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. This helps you notice patterns that you may want to change and work out where your negative feelings and ideas come from and why they are there. Understanding all this can help you make positive changes, take greater control of your life and improve your confidence.This page uses the word ‘talk therapy’, but you may also hear it referred to as talk treatment, counselling, therapy, psychotherapy, or psychological therapy.
Talk therapy can help with:
• difficult life events such as bereavement or redundancy
• relationship problems
• events from your past that still cause you distress – consciously or unconsciously.
• difficult feelings such as anger, shame, or low self-esteem
• mental health problems
• some long-term physical health conditions
It doesn’t have to be something you turn to in a crisis. If you think you could do with talking to someone in a safe space who won’t judge you, then it’s ok to try it.
There are different types of talk therapy I use: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. They have different use cases for different issues, and it often helps to use a mixture of these therapies together depending on the clients needs.
There are different types of hypnotherapies, and different ways of hypnotising someone. First, you'll usually have a talk with your therapist to discuss what you hope to achieve and agree what methods your therapist will use.
After this, the hypnotherapist may:
1. Lead you into a deeply relaxed state.
2. Use your agreed methods to help you towards your goals – for example, suggesting that you do not want to
carry out a certain habit.
3. Gradually bring you out of the trance-like state – most people feel refreshed and relaxed.
You're fully in control when under hypnosis and do not have to take on the therapist's suggestions if you do not want to. If necessary, you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state. Hypnosis does not work if you do not want to be hypnotised.
The Smoking / Vaping Cessation is a once off 2hr session with hypnotherapy tapes. Hypnotherapy has proven to be a very successful tool for smokers who truly want to stop smoking. Unless you are at least at a level 8 on the Hypnotherapy scale it is unlikely to be successful. Contrary to what you may have been told or read hypnotherapists can’t make you do anything that you don’t want to do. You must really want to stop of your own accord for this approach to work.
So, on a scale of 1 – 10, how badly do you really want to stop?
Before the session, please write down your answers to the following questions:
1. Why do you smoke?
2. What do you honestly like about smoking?
3. How does it benefit you?
4. Do you consider smoking to be cool or sexy?
5. What health concerns do you have about smoking?
6. How much does it cost? (consider equiptment such as lighters & ashtrays. The cost of burns in clothing or furniture. Redecorating due to stains. Car valeting, air fresheners. Time off work because of ill health)
If the answers to these questions have made you feel like smoking is a major negative in your life, then perhaps it is time for you to change your life in a meaningful way and quit smoking.
The 4-part programme will enable you to:
• Change your mind set around food and exercise
• Set realistic goals and achieve them
• Understand your existing eating habits and create new ones
• Explore the relationship between eating and emotions
• Address eating behaviours and underlying causes
• Change your cognitive thought processes towards 'dieting'
